Cynthia Lau is the founder of Golden Way Financial Group — a U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and CFA Candidate. She graduated with honors from the University of Southern California (USC) accounting program, then earned a Master of Taxation and an Estate Planning Graduate Certificate from Golden Gate University (GGU).

GGU is one of the most established graduate tax programs in the United States, with a long history of placing talent into the Big Four accounting firms. Cynthia began her career in the tax practice of a Big Four accounting firm and has run her own CPA practice for many years. She brings 30+ years of U.S.–China cross-border experience across U.S. taxation, cross-border structuring, estate and gift tax, and individual income tax.

As one of a very small number of advisors combining top-tier credentials with deep hands-on experience, she works at the intersection of cross-border tax compliance and comprehensive wealth planning — serving high-net-worth cross-border families with tax optimization, asset allocation, and long-term wealth strategy.

She has been invited to Phoenix TV USA to share tax and financial knowledge, and hosts a weekly YouTube interview series — consistently bringing substantive content to the community.
